Greg feels passionate about estate planning and helping everyone meet their individual goals. Every person and family are different and changing and he feels every estate plan should be also. After losing his mom to cancer in 2019, he feels an even greater desire to help everyone plan to avoid some of the difficulties that come with the end of life.
Greg graduated from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2010. During law school he externed for the Honorable Judge Denise Lindberg at the Third District Court in Salt Lake City. He also interned at Utah Legal Services in the real estate division. He is licensed to practice in the State of Utah and is a member of the Estate Planning Section and is on the Elder Law Section board.
Before starting Independence Law Firm, Greg worked as an associate attorney at law firms in Salt Lake, Summit and Utah County. He has been a featured guest at conferences, training seminars and on podcasts discussing estate planning and business formation. In addition to practicing estate planning, Greg also does business planning, contract drafting and probate. He is fluent in Spanish.
Greg was born in Portland, Oregon, and was raised in Walnut Creek California and Park City, Utah. He graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
In his free time, Greg likes spending time with his wife Courtney and their four children. He is an entrepreneur and is currently the member of the startup TalkLegal, a communications app to make communicating with attorneys easier and more user friendly. He also enjoys sports and serving in his church and community.
